At the premiere, Slate wore a red lace boat neck dress while Evans sported a light polo shirt and dark pants. The two posed while standing close together, with her hand resting on his chest, as seen in a cute pic that was posted on the movie's Snapchat.
"The Secret Life of Pets was fantastic! @jennyslate was a personal favorite," Evans tweeted.
He also said her co-star, Kevin Hart, was "hilarious too."
E! News learned in May thee two are dating, soon after Slate and Dean Fleischer-Camp broke up after three and half years of marriage.
She ad Evans met in October 2015 on the set of director Marc Webb's drama Gifted. Earlier this year, they went on a double date with his brother, Scott Evans. The couple also both took part in a joint interview on Anna Faris' podcast and also hung out with her and her husband, actor Chris Pratt.
"I didn't know what to expect when I met Chris," Slate said about Evans on the program. "I was a little scared because I kind of felt like, Well, I don't know him. He's a giant man with huge muscles and he's Captain America. How could we ever connect?...[But] the first night that we hung out, I was like, 'Wow, I could hang out with Chris for, like, 90 hours."
Evans said that while he had only known the actress for a few months, the two were "like the same animal."
