Seven suspects have been arrested over impersonation and certificate forgery in the ongoing recruitment exercise of Nigeria Police Force in Bauchi State. Police Public Relations Officer of the state command, Haruna Mohammed, said this while speaking yesterday.
According to Haruna, the seven suspects arrested had been charged to court for engaging in an unlawful act.
He said one Abdullahi Suleiman, 23, of Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, who was a dismissed constable and an ex-convict, re-applied for constable cadre with different credentials bearing Kabiru Ibrahim Dikal.
He noted that the case was under investigation after which the suspect would be charged to court.
He said: “On the recruitment exercise, the screening of the shortlisted applicants into the Nigeria Police Force in Bauchi State include Cadet ASPs, Inspectors and Constables.”
