Earlier today President Buhari on October 10 declared open the 22nd Nigerian Economic Summit (NESG 2016) themed “Made in Nigeria” at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja on October 10, 2016.
He asked Nigerians to change their habits by patronizing made-in-Nigeria products and services and said that increasing local production and services will not only create jobs for the young Nigerians but move Nigeria from an import-based to an export-based country.
The ex-president was reportedly accompanied on the visit by one of his daughters and a male aide. He, however, kept silent on purpose of his private visit.
Recall that last week Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has put to rest any idea that he might re-join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) or move to the All Progressives Congress (APC) by declaring that he was not interested in being a member of any party in the country.
The former president who was a chieftain of the PDP ceremoniously tore his membership card after he blamed the party for going against some of the party’s code.
