CHAIRMAN of the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria, PETAN, Bank-Anthony Okoroafor, has said that the West African International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, WAIPEC, will address Nigeria’s energy needs.
Okoroafor, in a statement, pointed out that WAIPEC was created to highlight the country’s challenges and promote its continued development.
Speaking on the launch of WAIPEC taking place on February 21-23rd, 2017, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Okoroafor said: “The event will provide a platform for the many major oil producers, engineering companies, oilfield services and consultants operating in Nigeria and West Africa, to showcase their technologies and expertise, as well as work to attract international investment and create partnerships for the betterment of the sector.”
He noted that during the conference an exhibition is projected to attract more than 200 exhibiting companies and 6,000 visiting professionals from West Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia.
