Maradona sets up Totti and fights with Veron in amazing Game for Peace!

As always Diego Maradona was in the thick of the action during Wednesday's Game for Peace in Rome, as he squared up to Juan Sebastian Veron mid-match!

The Argentina legend had delighted fans by combining with another historic No. 10 in Francesco Totti for a move which ended in a goal for the Roma veteran.

But his suspect temper boiled over, and it was his former Argentina charge Veron that bore the full brunt of the little genius' fury.

Relations between the pair are less than ideal, and at the end of the first half in Rome La Brujita received an earful from Maradona.

"I don't f*** you about, I tell you straight to your face idiot," Diego told the Estudiantes president, who was involved in the Normalisation Committee that helped choose Gerardo Martino's successor in the Argentine national team.

The 1986 World Cup winner told La Red: "Veron betrayed me, like he did with [Jose Luis Calderon]. He acts like a big-shot director.

"I don't want anything to do with him nor with his father, I won't go anywhere with him."

Good thing the game was for peace, or the fiery No. 10 might not have held back so much...
