His Excellency Umaru Tanko Almakura has supported a disable (cripple) bo with a customized motorcycle to ease his movement. Presenting the customized motorcycle to the beneficiary, Mujahidin Abdullahi, the Special Adviser Gende Relations Gender matters, rehabilitation and disability, Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim explained that His Excellency had spotted the young man struggling to move about and taught to support him with a wheelchair, but it was discovered he had a deformity on his upper arm that would not allow him to pedal long distances, therefore he thought it wise to get him motorcycle which was customized to enable him ride it with ease.Responding to journalists at the event, the beneficiary, Mujahidin Abdullahi thanked the governor for the assistance and prayed that many others may also benefit from the government. The Chairman of the Nasarawa State Crippled Association and the Nasaraw State Chairman of the Disabled Association both added their voices giving thanks to Gov.
Almakura for his continuous care for the disabled in Nasarawa State commending him for work on the Comprehensive Special School where the disabled would be given free education. They both also advised the beneficiary to take care of the motorcycle and to ride it carefully to inspire the Governor to do more for others.
